April Watched, May To-Watch

In April, my TV schedule was busier than it has ever been.

• Mad Men every Sunday on AMC @ 10:00pm. Mad Men series finale is on Sunday April 17th 2015.
• Outlander returned April 5th (and continued) every Sunday on Showcase @ 10:00pm. Outlander season 1 finale will be on April 23rd 2015.
• Better Call Saul finished Monday April 6th @ 10:00pm
• TURN started April 13th (and continued) every Monday on AMC @ 10:00pm. TURN season 2 finale will be next month.
• Survivor every Wednesday on CBS @ 8:00pm. It should be finished by either the end of this month or the beginning of June.

• Orphan Black started April 18th (and continued) every Saturday on Space @ 9:00pm

Now, after that very long list, what I watched on the side:

• Sons of Anarchy season 3
• LIBRARY: Arrow season 2
• TURN: Washington's Spies season 1

May

What I want to watch in May (on the side):

• Sons of Anarchy season 4
• That '70s Show season 5

I'm keeping it short because May is very busy for me!

My Netflix recommended show (this is where I chose one show from my recommended list on Netflix and watch the first episode, and do a review on it):

Oh, it's between Hemlock Grove and Daredevil... I think this month I'll go with Daredevil because it is on the rise right now. It is pretty big, and next month I'll try to get around to watching Hemlock Grove.

My Calendar in May (TV schedule):

Thanks for reading! Comment below and let me know what you plan on watching in May! Have a great month!

WWW Wednesday (1)

I saw this at Enchanted by YA and decided that I wanted to do it.

It was originally created by Should Be Reading.

You answer three questions:
1) What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading... not really anything. I think that I will read Voyager by Diana Gabaldon next because I have been meaning to get to that book for a while now.

2) What did you recently finish reading?
I just finished reading Losing It by Cora Cormack. My sister and I chose a book each from our own shelves that we wanted each other to read, so this is it.

3) What do you think you'll read next?
Between a few choices:

• Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige

• These Broken Stars by Aime Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

Thanks for reading! Comment below and let me know what you are reading and planning to read!

Top Ten Tuesday (2): Characters Who Have Superpowers

This Top Ten Tuesday was a choice. You were given the Characters Who _______ and you fill in the rest.
Originally created at The Broke and the Bookish
Here is the link to their post! Check it out to see other lists that other blogs have made!

10. Tuck Family from Tuck Everlasting
My favourite childhood book, this is about a family who can live forever. It is an exciting story that has good themes about living forever and if it is truly a good thing. The Tuck family lives forever from drinking from a stream.

9. Adam from The Chaos (Numbers #2)
His power is just like his mum's (he can see when people will die), except he also feels how they die.

8. Damon from Obsidian
He is an alien, but a hot, lightbulb alien. Not necessarily a superpower, but still worth mentioning.

7. Janie from Wake
She can go into your dreams and see what you dream about.

6. Millard from Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
He's invisible. 'Nuff said.

5. Gabriel Merrick from the Storm series
He and his brothers have powers (each one can control an element). Gabriel can control fire.

4. Jamie from the Mara Dyer trilogy
'Gifted' with the power of persuasion. Whatever he tells someone to do, they do it.

3. Hugh from Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
In Hollow City this guy proved to be one of the best peculiar children. He has bees living inside him and he talks to them and vice versa.

2. Mara Dyer from the Mara Dyer trilogy
She can kill people with her mind! She is this high on the list because she was awesome in book 2!

1. Noah Shaw from the Mara Dyer trilogy
Healing? Hotness? Yes, please! Noah heals himself... or does he?

Reasons Why TURN is amazing

How did this show almost get cancelled? It's awesome!

1) It's about the first American spy ring! It is a true story, which just makes this show even better! I get to be educated while being entertained!

2) The action!! We get to see the war, mini-battles, duels, and fist-fights!

3) The drama!! I totally vote for Anna and Abe! And I can't stand Mary!

4) Abe... He's a hottie and a spy! Danger and smarts...

5) Ben... I am just so attracted to him.

6) John Andre's little braid.

7) The ability to see both sides! They do a good job of giving us the chance to see not only the U.S. side, but the British side (and it shows not all British officers were like Simcoe).

8) It shows the friendship between 4 lifelong friends (who became spies together). You can't tell me that's not cool?

9) It's renewed for a second season!

So go start TURN because it is a historical gem that is certainly worth watching!

Most Anticipated Movies 2015

My most anticipated movies right now! All these movies are being released in 2015.

9. Vacation

I used to watch the Vacation movies when I was a kid. I remember loving them and watching them over and over because they were just so funny. In this reboot, Rusty takes his kids to Wally World. I'm not sure how well this movie is going to do, but I am excited to see it!
- Ed Helms plays Rusty
- Leslie Mann plays his wife
Plus Chris Hemsworth is in it!

Released on: July 31st 2015

8. Terminator Genisys

I have been watching the Terminator movies since I was young enough to understand them. Well, understand them enough, that is. I am so excited for this! Actress Emilia Clarke and Arnold Schwarzenegger? That means it will be awesome. Plus, being the romantic optimist, we get to see Sarah Connor with Kyle Reese... <3

Released on: July 1st 2015

7. Pan

All about how Peter Pan got to Neverland. We get to see Hook (who is looking good), Blackbeard, Tiger Lily, and of course Pan!

A great cast with Rooney Mara and Hugh Jackman, this movie looks awesome!

Released on: October 9th 2015

6. Far from the Madding Crowd

This love triangle is on my list because I love classic-turned movies. Great Gatsby was one of the more recent ones I saw and I loved it. Now, that same actress, in a movie with romance galore (and a hottie Shepard) and serious issues that still are relevant to relationships today makes for an awesome movie.

Released on: May 1st 2015

5. Fantastic Four

I used to watch the other versions of these movies all the time. I was in love with Johnny (Chris Evans, also known as Captain American!) and I loved their powers. I am really excited about this movie, but I'm not sure how I feel about Michael Jordan playing Johnny. I think he is a great actor and loved him in Chronicle, but him playing someone who is supposed to be related to a girl who is white just seems odd. I mean, there may be things in the story that they need to be siblings for. And Miles Teller is an awesome actor! I'm excited to see where they take this!
Bonus: Jamie Bell (I'm a huge TURN fan!)!! Unfortunately, he will be playing a rock for at least 40% of the movie.

Released on: August 7th 2015

4. Ant-Man

Another Marvel movie? Absolutely yes!
Paul Rudd?
Earlier this year, I was ecstatic. But now, I'm not so sure how I feel about it. I mean, Paul Rudd has just done too many crude movies for me to see him in a serious role as Scott Lang. But recently, Paul Rudd has done more serious roles, and he was very good at them.
So I guess that this movie will end up being good (come on, it's marvel!).
Plus, for all you saying it will suck because it's about a guy who turns into ants? You just wait. Ant-Man is extremely powerful.

Released on: July 17th 2015

3. The Hateful Eight

I am so excited for the Hateful Eight because I love Quentin Tarantino! I love all his movies and watch them over and over. This movie is going to be following his western theme that he seems to be doing.
All-star cast includes: Channing Tatum (I know, I was shocked, too!!!), Michael Madsen, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Released on: November 13th 2015

2. Jurassic World

Who isn't excited for this movie? It is what everyone has been waiting for since that first dinosaur appeared on-screen in 1993! Although, this movie won't have Dr. Alan or Dr. Ian (which is slightly disappointing), the creators want to go in another direction. Sure, they are classics from the first movie, but they want to create something different.
Secondly, Steven Spielberg isn't directing (and we all know how well that went in the third instalment).
But I have high hopes for this movie because it has Chris Pratt, Judy Greer, and a new cross-species dinosaur.
Have you seen the trailer? Go watch it now!

Released on: June 12th 2015

1. Avengers: Age of Ultron

This was probably my most anticipated movie of the year. I love the Avengers. In fact, as I'm writing this, I'm wearing a Captain America shirt (he's my favourite)!
In this one we will see new characters: Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (yes, the one from X-Men!!!).
We will see fights that certainly aren't as funny or nice as the first.
This is all a staging for the final Avengers (where the only Avenger to appear in both parts of the movie is Hulk?!!??! [Read online]).
It will be epic.

Released on: May 1st 2015 (Otherwise known as the day that I see the Avengers)

Hope you liked my anticipated movies for the rest of 2015!
Let me know which movie you are more anticipated for and when you plan to see it!
