Stacking the Shelves #1 -08/04/15

Normally I just do a haul, but I have been trying to get around to doing a stacking the shelves. I figured now was a perfect time because I haven't done a haul since March. So now my haul from April to June.

Stacking the Shelves was created by Tynga's Reviews. That link will take you to the webpage about Stacking the Shelves.
I first saw Stacking the Shelves on Book Chick's blog. That link will take you to her haul.

Without further ado, here is my first ever Stacking the Shelves!

Kindle Books:
Undeniably Chosen by Shelly Crane
Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge --> $1.99
Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch --> $1.99
Talon by Julie Kagawa --> $2.99
Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy
Keeping Her by Cora Carmack
This Night so Dark by Megan Spooner and Amie Kaufman
One More Chance by Abbi Glines --> $1.99
Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry
Ultraviolet Episode One by Jessica Sorensen

Hard copy of Books:
Because of how many books I hauled, I made categories! :D

SPACE
Across the Universe by Beth Revis: Super excited to read this one. I have heard about this book for years. Hopefully it is still something I will like! Edition: Paperback
These Broken Stars by Aimee Kaufman and Meagan Spooner: Read this book a while back and absolutely loved it! I originally ordered it on Amazon for the beautiful cover! :P But it is a beautiful story that I highly recommend! Edition: Hardcover
CONTEMPORARY
Just Like Fate by Cat Patrick and Suzanne Young: I read this about a year ago and loved it! I saw it at Chapters for $5 and decided: yes! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU LIKE SLIDING DOORS (movie) Edition: Hardcover
Lying Out Loud by Kody Keplinger: Bought this at Wal-Mart too. I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I really enjoyed the DUFF but this one sounds very childish... Edition: Hardcover

99 Days by Katie Cotugno: Bought this on a whim from Wal-Mart. It was the last copy and I remembered signing up for a giveaway but didn't win. It sounded promising, I think I'll actually read this one soon. Edition: Hardcover

HISTORICAL
The White Queen by Phillipa Gregory: I was super excited to see the show (and it was good), but now that I have seen it, I'm putting reading this back for while... Edition: Paperback
The Iron King by Maurice Druon: I bought this because it was 'the original Game of Thrones.' Hoping that it's really well done! But then I heard the final book is only in French. :( Edition: Paperback
The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd: Really loved this book. WOULD RECOMMEND Edition: Paperback
Her Dark Curiosity by Megan Shepherd Edition: Paperback
A Cold Legacy by Megan Shepherd Edition: Paperback

DYSTOPIAN
The Heir by Kiera Cass: I liked this one, but I really don't know how to feel about the main character. But props to Cass for taking a risk with an unlikable character. It was refreshing. Edition: Paperback
Fire and Flood by Victoria Scott: Previously read The Collector and didn't love it, but this one was at Value Village for $5 in hardcover. How could I not? :P Edition: Hardcover
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey: "Soon to be a Major Motion Picutre" don't know what it's about, buy. Edition: Paperback
PARANORMAL
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare: I still haven't read past book one... But this was also at Value Village for $5.99 Edition: Hardcover
Half Bad by Sally Green: Really excited to read this! I have been hearing great things over on Goodreads all month about book 2, and saw this one at Value Village for $5. Edition: Hardcover
FANTASY
The Demon King by Cinda Willams Chima: I saw this at the store and saw all the novels. I decided to try reading the back of book one. I'm so glad I did! It sounds amazing! Really looking forward to reading this! Edition: Paperback

Days of Blood and Starlight: From chapters on sale for $5.99. Still have yet to read the first but the covers are gorgeous! Can't pass on a beautiful hardcover! Edition: Hardcover

Fire by Kristin Cashore: I haven't read Graceling, but I really want to read this one! To me, it sounds even better than Graceling. Edition: Paperback

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir: I bought this on a whim because I liked the way it sounds. Still have yet to read this one, but I'm really looking forward to it. I've heard great things on Goodreads. Edition: Hardcover

Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch: Also own on Kindle, but it was at Value Village for $5! Plus, it sounds like a YA Game of Thrones. Edition: Hardcover

The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkowski: LOVED THIS BOOK! So much politics! Edition: Hardcover

Thanks for reading! Let me know what you think and what you got recently!
